  • Day 1: Ang Thong National Marine Park 1 Day

Angthong National Marine Park is the second largest National Park created in Thailand, which comprises some 40 islands covering 250 sq km. Be enchanted by this wonderland composed of bulbous green isles, clear blue lagoons, mysterious caves and faceted rock formations. Most islands comprise limestone masses, reaching heights of up to 450 meters and blanketed by 4 different types of forest such as Dry Evergreen Forest, Beach Forest, Limestone Forest and Mangrove Forest. Besides the many coves and little beaches there are many unusual formations created by erosion of the earth and one island has a mysterious sink hole completely enclosed by walls of sheer rock in its center.  The tour starts early in the morning from your hotel to the boat pier embarkation point. Then set sail to the Marine Park, stopping at 2 popular tourist attractions – the islands of Ko Wua Talap (sleeping cow island) and Ko Mae (mother island) where the green lagoon of a beautiful emerald saltwater lake is located. At about 15:00 all boats will head back to Samui and transfer back to your hotel.
